Weather History

Feb 10 1932

Widespread minor damage in New Plymouth was caused by a southeasterly gale which raged over the district for three days."Fences were left lying flat across footpaths, gardens laid low everywhere, dust swept into offices and everything had a gritty touch. Nectarines and peaches were shaken from their trees and hedges were uprooted."
